Robert Dowling, Executive Director

Robert was a banker in New York and Chicago, with an MBA in finance, before he left the corporate world and moved to Carrboro with his wife Bethaney Dale in 1994 to work with nonprofits. He joined the board of Orange Community Housing Corporation in 1996 and became executive director in December 1997. He managed the organizational transition to a community land trust in 2000-2001. Crystal Fisher, Sales Manager

Crystal joined the Home Trust in March 2004 and quickly found her niche working with homebuyers. That same year Crystal became involved with the creation of AHA (Affordable Housing Alliance) in Orange County. She implemented home-buyer education seminars for first time homebuyers and is currently a licensed broker.Crystal and her daughter Jazmin are chocolate enthusists and love the outdoors. Anita Badrock, Operations Manager

Anita Badrock joined the staff of Community Home Trust in April 2009 after spending many years as a small business owner and consultant. Anita is a very active community volunteer and serves on many local boards and committees. Anita loves to read, hike, jet ski, and garden. Anita and her husband Roger live in Chapel Hill. Amy Singleton, Sales Associate

Realtor and broker Amy Singleton joined the staff of the sales and marketing team in 2004. In addition to selling homes, she conducts monthly homebuyer education seminars. Amy manages a co-rec softball team in her spare time and enjoys riding her bike with her husband and son. Tony Matthews, Sales Associate

Tony joined the Home Trust in 2008, and has been in real estate for the past 14 years. Prior to that, he worked in construction and remodeling for 18 years. He currently lives in Durham with his wife and family. When not at work, you'll find him on his mountain bike or playing old time music on the fiddle and banjo. Christine Westfall, Project Manager

Christine has been with the Home Trust since its formation in 2000. She oversees technical aspects of implementing the community land trust model. Christine also sits on the board of the National CLT Academy. Christine is a graduate of Northwestern University in Chicago. She now lives in Durham and when she is not overseeing development at the Home Trust, Christine spends time with her fiddle and her Piedmont Old Time band. Trish Cates, Property Manager

Trish Cates joined CHT in September 2007. Trish manages the Home Trust’s Land Leases, the Stewardship program, and is the Property Manager for the Homeowners Associations. She also oversees the Home Trust’s financial affairs. Prior to joining the Home Trust, Trish worked in the construction field as a business manager, and as an administrator for a nonprofit center in San Luis Obispo, California. Trish now resides in Mebane, NC with her husband, Steve, their 6 dogs and 3 cats. They enjoy their music business, and rescuing and transporting homeless animals, along with volunteering for disabled children’s and homeless programs. Tamara Watson, Development & Communications Manager

Tamara joined Community Home Trust in August 2009 after moving to North Carolina from the Washington, D.C. area. She previously worked as a Grant Writer at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington and as a reporter at the St. Petersburg Times in Florida. Tamara enjoys playing soccer, cooking Lebanese food and reading. She lives in Carrboro with her husband, Brendan Watson, a Ph.D. student at the University of North Carolina. Lori Woolworth, Accountant

Lori recently moved to the Raleigh area from northern Mississippi, but has spent most of her time in the Midwest. She currently lives in Morrisville with her husband, two daughters, ages 5 and 3, and three dogs. She has worked in non-profit accounting for over 10 years.
