Home News
In the past month, we welcomed another family who officially closed on their CHT home, and another family is now under contract. Congratulations to all!
Five homes are currently available and being matched to approved buyers in our home buying program. Three more CHT homes will be available for resale soon, and more new construction homes are on the way!
Construction of phase II of Coker Place (pictured), a new development on N. Estes Drive, is set to begin in spring of 2026. Once completed, CHT will welcome 14 new condominiums into our permanently affordable housing portfolio.

CHT in the Community
We were thrilled to be honored by UNC Basketball with the Bobbie Webb Davis Community Service Spotlight. CHT’s Building Asset and Acquisition Manager, Ian Morse and Homebuyer Support Specialist, Rachel Cone accepted the honor at a recent Tar Heels game.
CHT’s President and CEO Kimberly Sanchez and Vice President of Strategy and Operations Daniele Berman attended the NC Center for Nonprofits‘ annual conference to connect with resources and other organizations to further our work.
We were also honored to be selected by The Chamber for a Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro as a finalist for the 2025 Business Excellence Award for Non-Profit of the Year.
