Community Home Trust Newsletter Header

Over the past two weeks, our community has faced significant hardship as flooding from Tropical Depression Chantal has disrupted lives, damaged property, and created widespread uncertainty.

While we are grateful that all Community Home Trust homeowners are safe and their homes remain intact, we know that many others have not been as fortunate. The emotional and physical toll from this storm is profound, and our hearts go out to everyone who is struggling in its aftermath.

This is a time when our shared values truly matter. At CHT we believe in showing up for each other with compassion, care, and tangible support. Whether you have been directly impacted or are looking for ways to help, we want to connect you with the resources you need.

For those in need, there are trusted services offering access to temporary shelter, food, and basic supplies, as well as emotional and mental health support. emergency clean up and home repair services are also available, along with financial relief and legal assistance.

For those who want to support recovery efforts, there are many ways to get involved, from volunteering for cleanup and supply distribution to donating to local relief efforts or directly supporting families and small businesses affected by the flooding. You can view our list of resources here.

In the days and weeks ahead, we will continue to listen, respond, and do our part to help rebuild what has been lost. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s anything we can do for you or if you have ideas about how we can serve more effectively.

Thank you for being a part of this incredible community and for all the ways you show up for one another.

With gratitude,
