This month, we are celebrating a remarkable double milestone for Community Home Trust. We have reached 35 years of service to the Orange County community, and we have now surpassed 300 permanently affordable homes in our homeownership portfolio.

Behind each of these 300 homes is a story of stability, opportunity, and belonging. Hundreds of local residents have been able to put down roots in the community where they live and work. Residents like Julia, a registered nurse and mother of two, who recently achieved her dream of homeownership through CHT after years of waiting.

These milestones are a powerful testament to what the community land trust model can accomplish. By preserving affordability for generations, CHT creates pathways to homeownership that strengthen families, neighborhoods, and our entire community. Reaching this achievement has only been possible because of the unwavering support, partnership, and commitment of people like you.

As we look ahead, we are excited to build on this momentum. Over the coming years, we anticipate adding more than 260 additional permanently affordable homes to our portfolio through projects including the collaborative Homestead Gardens development, as well as other developments like South Creek and 1100 Columbia. Together, these additions will help ensure that more individuals and families can continue to thrive in the community they call home.
