Each year, our Foundation of Home Awards give us a chance to pause and celebrate the people and partnerships that make our community stronger. This year’s honorees have reminded me just how much is possible when people care deeply, show up for others, and are willing to find new ways forward.

Our 2026 award winners each reflect a different kind of impact. Tiz G., recipient of the Deanna Carson Memorial Good Neighbor Award, embodies the spirit of caring for others and strengthening community. Ron Strom, our Building Better Futures Award recipient, reminds us of the lasting difference one person can make through dedication and service. And Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, recipient of our Exceptional Innovation Award, demonstrates what can happen when trusted partners bring their strengths together to create new pathways to affordable homeownership.

What inspires me most is that their impact extends far beyond any single award or accomplishment. They remind us that meaningful change often begins with one person, one partnership, or one idea, and grows through a shared commitment to making our community a better place.

I am grateful to each of this year’s honorees and inspired by the ways they are helping build a stronger, more connected community.

I hope you’ll take a few minutes to learn more about these remarkable people and partners and the stories behind this year’s awards.

With gratitude,
