Camille joined Community Home Trust in May 2014. In 2005, she returned to her native state with her family and settled in Orange County. Camille strives to secure needed resources to advance the Home Trust’s work in affordable housing, while amplifying its efforts and achievements. Camille serves on the boards of Chapel Hill-Carrboro Sunrise Rotary Club, Piedmont Health Services, Transplanting Traditions Community Farm, and Wellesley in the North Carolina Piedmont Alumnae Club (president). She also mentors a young leader through the Blue Ribbon Mentor-Advocate program and is chair of The Chamber for a Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro’s Awards Selection Committee. Once housing insecure, Camille is keenly sensitive to the positive impact living in an affordable home makes on the individual, the family members, and the community.
