Resale Process Updates

Last month we shared that we streamlined and updated our home buying process, and now, we’ve also made updates to the resale process for our homeowners.

As a community land trust, when a CHT homeowner decides to move, they sell their home back to us. This ensures that our homes remain affordable for future buyers.

We’re Grateful!

We’re thrilled to share that CHT has received a $10,000 operating support grant from the Strowd Roses Foundation and $1,000 grant from the Piedmont Electric Cooperative’s Helping Hand Foundation. These generous contributions help us continue to provide permanently affordable housing and support first time homebuyers on their path to stability and security, Thank you to both of these organizations for investing in a stronger, more inclusive community.
