Four homes are currently available and being matched with approved buyers, with two additional resales and more new construction coming soon.

CHT in the Community

In January, CHT President and CEO Kimberly Sanchez hosted community land trust leaders from across the state who make up the North Carolina Community Land Trust Coalition for a day-long advocacy planning session. This newly-formed group was featured in a recent article from NC Newsline.

Last month, our staff also stepped away from their day-to-day work to come together for a team retreat. Guided by Paradox Consulting Partners, we took time to refocus our values and strengthen connections with one another. We look forward to putting the lessons learned into action.

Kimberly and CHT were also featured in Grounded Solutions’ rental report Community Land Trusts in the Rental Market: Practices, Challenges, and Opportunities, sharing how CHT is working to address the rental housing affordability crisis in our community.
