A Visit to Capitol Hill

Executive Director Kimberly Sanchez and Vice President of Strategy and Operations Daniele Berman attended the Grounded Solutions Network conference in Washington, D.C. last week along with 450 other representatives from shared equity housing programs across the country. They’re pictured here with members of the North Carolina Community Land Trust Coalition on a visit to Capitol Hill to meet with staff members in the offices of our senators and representatives.

Maintenance Tip

Click the button to read more about why this is important. If you’re a CHT homeowner looking for a professional to help, check out our list of approved vendors.

Largest Affordable Housing Project in Chapel Hill History!

Last month, the Chapel Hill Town Council unanimously approved the Hillside Trace affordable housing community. We are partnering with Taft-Mills Group to develop the property, which will include 190 affordable apartments for households earning less than 60 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI). The apartments will include a mix of 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units.
