Opening Doors 2020
What a twist-er 2020 is! It certainly had an effect on this year’s Opening Doors event, which was held on Friday, October 30. Instead of welcoming our guests to the Carolina Inn as originally planned, we pivoted our signature event to Zoom.
Opening Doors Committee delivered a fun event that raised more than $80,000 for Community Home Trust and the people we serve. We were thrilled to see how many people chose to tune in for our hour-long program on a Friday night and even had some who joined early and stayed for the after party!
Now, more than ever, housing security is critical for our residents as we all face the pandemic and its impact. A huge thanks to the community for its support and to the committee members, who helped to make the evening special. Together, we can continue to open doors to permanently affordable housing.
