Community Home Trust Newsletter

Dear Subscriber,

We recently asked our staff what they’re thankful for, and here’s what they said:

I couldn’t help but notice how so many of their answers point to home: the people (friends and family), tastes (coffee and family meals), and rejuvenation (time off and rest) that we find in our homes. And of course, health, which was the answer given most often by our staff members: we know that being healthy requires a safe, stable place to live.

This year, I’m thankful for all these things – and for you, the COMMUNITY that makes the HOMES in Community Home Trust possible. Whether you’re a CHT resident, a supporter, or a friend, thanks for putting your TRUST in our team this year.

Gratefully,

Dowling Home Maintenance Fund

In 2019, in honor of the retirement of long-time executive director Robert Dowling, CHT and a group of generous donors established the Dowling Home Maintenance Fund, through which CHT homeowners can access no-interest, no-payment loans for essential or critical home repairs that aren’t covered by HOAs or our Stewardship Fund. Learn more about the Dowling Home Maintenance Fund on our blog!

Giving Tuesday

Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday…and then Giving Tuesday!

Please join us in celebrating this global day of Giving on November 28, when we hope to reach our goal of fully funding the Dowling Home Maintenance Fund to support our homeowners in keeping their homes safe and healthy. Every dollar makes a difference!
